The Chamber
The gold goes all the way in.
The stainless steel goes into a sealed chamber and the air is pumped out until almost nothing is left. At four hundred degrees, zirconium is vaporised into plasma and driven into the surface — not laid on top of it, but built into it, a few microns deep and harder than the metal underneath.
It cannot flake off, because there is no layer to flake.

QUESTIONS? WE'VE GOT YOU.
• Will this strainer catch fine tea leaves?
Yes. The fine herringbone-weave stainless steel mesh is designed to catch small tea leaves and particles much more effectively than a regular coarse strainer, giving you a cleaner cup of chai.
• Will the mesh get clogged while I pour?
No. The mesh has been designed keeping Indian chai in mind, where tea leaves, masala and other fine particles are commonly present. Its herringbone weave allows chai to strain smoothly while effectively filtering out the smaller particles. A quick rinse after use is usually all it needs.
• Does tea flow through quickly?
Yes. The herringbone weave balances fine filtration with good flow.
• Does the strainer fit different cup and glass sizes?
The strainer measures 22 × 8 × 4 cm. Its wide 8 cm straining bowl is suitable for many regular cups and mugs, while the long handle makes it easy to hold securely while pouring. We recommend checking the dimensions against your preferred cup or glass before purchase.
• What are the exact dimensions of the strainer?
22 cm — Overall Length
8 cm — Strainer Width
4 cm — Depth
• Will the strainer become hot while pouring tea?
The strainer is made from stainless steel, so the section directly exposed to hot tea can become warm. The extended handle keeps your hand away from the hot liquid, but we still recommend handling it carefully immediately after pouring.
• How do I remove tea leaves stuck in the mesh?
Turn the strainer upside down and rinse it from the reverse side under running water. For stubborn particles, gently use a soft kitchen brush. Avoid sharp objects or abrasive scrubbers that could damage the fine mesh.
• Can I rinse it under running water?
Absolutely. In fact, rinsing it immediately after use is the easiest way to keep the fine mesh clean. Shake off excess water and allow it to dry properly before storing.
• Will the mesh or handle rust?
The strainer is made from premium food-grade stainless steel and is highly resistant to rust and corrosion. For best results, rinse after use, avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals or salt, and store it dry.
• Can I use it for green tea or loose-leaf tea?
Yes. The fine herringbone weave makes it suitable for chai, green tea and many types of loose-leaf tea where smaller leaves would normally escape through a coarse strainer.
• Can I use it for masala chai?
Definitely. It is specifically well made for Indian-style chai, including tea brewed with spices such as ginger, cardamom and masala. Fine spice particles may collect on the mesh, so we recommend rinsing it immediately after use.
• Can I return it if I don't like the size?
Returns are not accepted for size or preference-related reasons. Please check the dimensions and product scaling image carefully before ordering. Returns are available only in cases where the product received is damaged or incorrect.
• What is the refund/return policy?
If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, contact us within 72 hours of delivery. Once the issue is verified, we will arrange the return pickup. The refund will be processed after the returned product has been received and checked by us.

Why We Started Meshverse
We started Meshverse because we couldn't find a chai channi that actually held up — good mesh, a handle that didn't wobble, sizes that made sense. So we made our own, tested it more ways than any strainer should need to survive, and it turned out other people wanted the same thing: everyday kitchen tools that don't feel like an afterthought.
