The Gold variant is made from premium food-grade stainless steel and finished with a PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating. Before coating, the surface goes through ultrasonic cleaning, drying and vacuum ion etching to prepare the steel properly—no abrasive blasting is used.
The gold layer is then deposited in a controlled vacuum process, creating a thin, uniform and durable metallic finish that bonds closely to the stainless-steel surface. The result is that rich gold look without using conventional paint or surface colouring.

We started Meshverse because we couldn't find a chai channi that actually held up — good mesh, a handle that didn't wobble, sizes that made sense. So we made our own, tested it more ways than any strainer should need to survive, and it turned out other people wanted the same thing: everyday kitchen tools that don't feel like an afterthought.
